So far I'm bidding pretty conservatively in order to try and make profit. I'm cutting ads where appropriate once I get some data (usually 3 to 4000 impressions). If the CTR and CPC aren't good I'm cutting it.
Would I be better to bid higher on lets say 10 placements 5 ads initially and know I'll make a big loss in order to get the data quicker? Will these lead to profitable campaigns more quickly. I'm using traffic junky.
Different traffic sources have different distribution algorithms which may make it advantageous or not so to bid aggressively ...
