Slow Account Managers?

Hey everyone,

I've been building up some good momentum lately, making lots of banners, brainstorming new angles and optimising campaigns, however one of the biggest bottlenecks that's really slowing everything down are my affiliate managers.

More specifically, everytime i make a new banner or ad copy i need to get it approved by them, but this can sometimes take up to 2-3 days, which is frustrating as i know it's something they could approve in 5 minutes (not submitting anything out of the ordinary that would need to be run via the advertiser), does everyone have this problem or have i just been stuck with some bad AM's?

What network and vertical, I've never had to submit any creatives to an AM, nor would I want to.

Agree, waiting 10 days for simple banners approval. Emails and skype conversations ignored. F5Media

This was with Appflood, my AM's English isn't that good either and they're knocking back ad copy which could not be any cleaner, so i think they've misunderstood it :/

In the past when my AM was slow/unhelpful, I’ve got recommendations from others and hit up the network asking them to change my AM.

Worked perfectly and ended up with a far better/more responsive AM.

Thanks Ruby, might look into that if the situation doesn't improve.

Its so many networks, so if you really need there offers and cant find it somewhere else....be friendly and try to replace your AM. otherwise i think its better to have your head up and select one of the hundreds programs out there.

You need to try out other networks. Don't limit yourself to one network. I work with networks that have super cool affiliate managers, even though payout might be lower.

There's absolutely nothing wrong about changing AMs at a network. You should always feel comfortable requesting a change if the one you have is being too slow.

I expect to get a reply within 24 hours and that's what I said to my affiliate manager. Make some agreement about what you will do per day and an hour to discuss it. Usually these people are busy and get 10 "heys" an hour but if you show them you're serious I'm sure they will spend more time on you.
