So after reading up on mobile on STM I've come to the following conclusions. Please correct me if I'm wrong
Display traffic:
-Loads of bots and clickfraud. Track or die - learn how to blacklist bot traffic/non-performing placements, carriers, devices etc.
-Mainly for app installs, lead gen, pin submits, rather than pay-per-call.
-Loads of traffic sources to test
Search traffic:
-Don't have to worry about placement, carrier, device etc. tracking and blacklisting. Only have to analyze and optimize keywords.
-Limited to primarily Google Adwords and Bing Ads.
-Mainly for pay-per-call offers, rather than app installs, lead gen, pin submits.
I like the idea of mastering 1 traffic source. If I decide to go with Google Adwords, I guess I can do search traffic for pay-per-call offers and display traffic for app installs for example.
Lastly, I've read that networks like Decisive etc. carry 50%+ of bot traffic. Is this the case for GDN as well? In which case I'd have to track GDN traffic with
Thousand thanks!

Google search is close to the top in terms of traffic quality. GDN is close to the top for display traffic as well.
The reason many affiliate marketers don't use them much is not because of bad quality, but rather due to the high cost.
Thanks! Hm, ok - makes sense. Search traffic is probably even more high quality then GDN? The guys that are running desktop/mobile GDN - how much are you blacklisting placements? (compared to other mobile display traffic sources)
Google search is pretty much the gold standard for traffic quality.
