Lots of recent Indonesians joining STM!
I noticed a LOT of recent Indonesians joining STM!
I find it really fascinating that Indonesia seems to be developing into a major country for AM ... how did you all get into AM? What are the main benefits and challenges you see in this business as an Indonesian?

Having ran a ton of bizopps indonesia and sg always killed it. In the process of getting to know my demo i learned that both are full of people with high entrepreneurial spirits. Guess that has to do a lot with why so many indonesians want to get into aff marketing

As far as I know, we (Indonesian) were runing clickbank offer via facebook massively since few years ago, and I know some guys here still on top 10 list of clickbank aff.
As we take the game seriously, we realize that we should learn and scale up our AM skill. Last year, some guys join (back) to STM and make some good ROI. Then we made some meetups and also mastermind groups, spread the news, and now the game is on (we do recommend anyone who interested to join STM).
I believe (forcasted) 150 million internet user by 2015 in Indonesia, will be potential target market for any app / digital product owner. even though the internet speed connection is still the biggest challenge for us, but 4G LTE has just launched early this year by some telco providers here, and that's a good signs.
honestly, we're still on early stage of this game and need to learn lot of things. but we also realize this game is for real, so let's see what we can contribute to AM community (STM) few years from now.

That looks like a great market, and you will have a massive home field advantage! Best of luck to you all!

Exactly..
Metlife insurances

i see them on aff networks now.
But there's more.
I don't know the name for it but it is all about getting commission.
Example:
You are planning to buy a house and want to go and check out the property. You know the address and also that it's around Pasar Jumat near Lebak Bulus but Blok II , Jalan Whatever, Gang 4.
So, you are there and can't find it. Om senang is ngonkrong at the side of the road there and you ask him about the property. He takes you and shows you the house.
If you buy the house, Om senang is entitled to receive commission for his services.

I think SE Asia on the whole is growing in the affiliate industry (SG, ID, TH, VN). I've heard some success stories about affs from these countries coming from my reps. Btw, I'm from Singapore. Stayed in Jakarta for a year, visited Bali (awesome place), Medan. What is the current trend among ID affs right now? Mobile?
