how do you guys track landers on a Tech support offer?
Hey Stackers,
How do you guys track lander's perfomance via Voluum on a tech support offer?
say I wanna split test 3 landers, since there is no click because the user is calling
Do conversions show in Voluum? how do you know which lander gives you more calls? do you get different numbers to place on the landers?
thank you!

Use a different number for each lander. You can also place a call pixel to see specifics on each call.

Nah, but you can see call details and see if the data matches up

Only if they have been passed through a Voluum tracking link first.
If your ad is going straight to a call then no... but since you say you are using landers, then I assume you are doing Ad -> Voluum link -> Lander -> CTA to Voluum link -> Affiliate Link -> Initiates call.
If that's the case, you would just track as you always would using S2S or placing a pixel. If you need to direct lander clicks to a unique number then I guess you can do that and place the pixel but have a 0% lander CTR, or figure out how to get Voluum to send people to an offer URL that initiates a call.

You need to use RingPools. This will give you a unique number for each pop, and that number will be reserved for xx min.
It's rather complex, but basically you put the RingPools API url in Voluum as the offer URL. Most of the setup is within the RingPools and you need to put some code on your lander.

I'll save you guys some time. You cant dynamically change the number in the intro JS alert. AKA conversion tracking won't work with tech support as most people call the number in the JS alert.

Why not? Wouldn't it would work fine if you were hitting the invoca api server side (i.e. with php) and generating the js alert with that?

Try callrail.com they don't integrate with any tracker yet (only with adwords atm ) but still you can match data and would be great if robert can work with them on integration that would be a huge success for AM industry ..

To follow up, I just tried doing this with php (cURL) and it worked fine. It looks like you can also pass the data from invoca back to
Voluum by setting up a web hook in invoca. So yeah it looks pretty possible to track your lander performance in
Voluum that way.
I'm not sure how/if this would hang up with high volume, but its worth a test I suppose.

You need to use ringpools. That's the best way to track keywords and lp's
