I was tossing this idea around and wanted to get some opinions on it...
I was thinking about building an amazon "Store Front" landing page that will be a wordpress blog or something with a few posts / links to amazon and a big amazon banner ad. I would then buy traffic from a direct navigation provider (not pop up) and send them to my store front page. I could then either pop-under an amazon page with my affiliate link or use some sort of redirect script to make it seem that the user came from my storefront page and landed on the amazon page.
Then I would basically be hoping that the user makes some sort of purchase in the next 24 hours to make the % commission.
Since I am not popping over amazon's site and cookie stuffing, would this be completely against their TOS? Or more grey area?
I have no clue if this will work since my guess is that since the traffic would likely be so broad most people probably won't make purchases...

Use viglink.com
Nice One!
Send your traffic to a landing page that redirects to amazon using viglink.
This will credit your amazon earnings to viglink who pays you your commissions. This is desirable as long as you're selling fewer than 3000 products /month. You will take advantage of viglinks higher commission rate with amazon.
amazon will shut you down asap if you send it directly, dont do that
the question is what sort of conversion rate do they expect? Viglink and amazon
