Are Facebook Landers Usually used on Facebook or on mobile apps as well?

Hi,

I just found a list of landers. Most of them are instant prize wins in facebook style.

Question: Are these mainly used for mobile facebook or, are they used as lander after display advertisement as well?

For example Grinder-->Banner-->Facebook Lander.

I would think they are used on redirects traffic sources for people mistyping facebook..... ad least that's what i would do

They are used pretty much everywhere. The ''FB Style'' is about adding authenticity and familiarity. Sweeps is all about making the ''giveaway'' look legit.

Be careful though - many traffic sources frown upon that & many offers don't like it either
