Hello everyone, I'm running campaign for more than month and last week start getting profit. But recently people start bidding very high and if I try to outbid them I'm losing money. My banners doesn't get high CTR but they convert really good, also got one landing page which does the best from all other LP I have test.
Traffic Source: TJ
When I bid: 0.20-0.30cents its brining me profit.
Now too many competitors and everyone bidding very high, above 0.60cents
Banners CTR: 0.15-0.26%

want to say the costs are not real.
Hey man, congrats on getting in the green - annoying about losing your traffic though!
The options I see…
1) optimise more in order for it to be profitable in running with higher bids…
2) run at a high bid and lose money but hopefully cause everyone else to give up (dodgy and could be a waste of money)
3) try to find cheaper traffic elsewhere
4) keep running low traffic but remain profitable
Well to find another traffic source means testing losing money and so on...
You’re looking at it wrong, testing doesn’t mean losing money - it’s gaining data.
If you want the success you’re after, you need to start looking at it differently.
Ya agree,
Here's 3 days of stats on my Placement

You have creatives that are performing way better than some of the rest, focus on the best one and try to increase bids. If that doesnt work out, simply move on. There are situations when you simply cannot outbid your competition no matter what you do. Chances are, you will be able to return again in a few days or weeks. Bids go up and down all the time.
Btw : if you are afraid of testing and finding more traffic sources cause you might loose money, youre in the wrong business, because thats all this is about from a large part
Hi,
Just to make sure, if you keep your bid at the profitable level:
- You don't get any traffic
- You get much less traffic
- You no longer convert as well (this one would be very surprising).
Have you tried to select another spot on the same site(s) (like NTVB instead of NTVA)?
You could also try to play around with the targeting options (like increasing the bid but lowering the frequency cap).
From what I see, there might sometimes be variations on the bids table but it usually balances out, so worst comes to worst you should see the bids go down again at some point.
Let me know how it goes.
