Good Day Everyone,
Hopefully someone can assist me with these questions here. So at the moment we (mastermind group) currently have a campaign we worked that is currently generating around Low to Mid $xx profit a day consistently (started at negative a week and a half ago and kept optimizing.). Everyday we work together to optimize the campaign and have been slowly bringing it up higher each day. We still plan to continue to optimize until the offer dies. Our question basically is, when is a good time to scale and how can we approach this.
At the moment I am currently using ZP and ended up running the same campaign on DNTX and Popads which both ended up in the green as well (just not as much as ZP.) Would it be a wise decision to jump into a higher quality (pop) traffic source like TrafficVance, Gunggo, LeadImpact and etc or should this be done at a later time. Not to sure how it works in terms of scaling so any bit of information will be greatly appreciate it.
One idea we had planned was to go into other similar verticals to diversify and build other profitable campaigns, but also once again we are unsure if maybe we should just stick to the one we have for now and focus on it. Of course there are pros and cons (current offer could possibly die at any time, but if diversified we still have camps running) to each decision. Lastly, would making duplicate campaigns on the same traffic source with slightly lower bids work as well (I know this is something we should try first, but wanted to see if anyone knows before we give it a try) for scaling?
Sorry for the LONG questions, but once again any answers is greatly appreciated.
Thank you all in advance!
If you have something working, I would say try and scale the same campaign as much as you can. E.g. same thing on many different traffic sources.
That would be my first move. After that, as you said I would start to diversify and use what I learnt to build other profitable campaigns to add to your portfolio of cash cows.
As for the multiplying the campaign in the same traffic source - this depends on the traffic source algorithm. Sometimes you’ll find you get hardly any views from the lower bidding duplicates. Worth a shot though!
