Voluum conversion upload

Hi all

Can anyone explain to me how conversion upload works on Voluum? For example i have a campaign with conversion on Decisive. Voluum says: Please enter one click ID per line. Optionally add payout after a comma, for example: c384EFV6JHQODRN70575OK6UG5, 10.0

What link do i have to put there?

Thank you

You don't have to put a link, you need to pull the clickID from the offer report and manually paste it in there

Thank you. Can you tell me where to pull it from Decisive report?

I never ran on Decisive so I don't know their interface.

In order to help you better I need to know those things:

1.)Are you sending the clickID through Voluum?
2.) If yes with which placeholder? (sub1, sub2?)
3.) If you cant answer the above can you post your exact offerlink from Voluum in here? (you can replace the actual domain with "domain.com" if you dont want to disclose, I need to see the structure)

Regards

You can pull it from your affiliate network conversion report instead of your Decisive report. Export as an excel file. Eliminate all other columns apart from Click ID and Payout. Copy and paste into Voluum's Conversion Upload. NOTE: Make sure to have the commas after the Click ID but before the Payout

Don't worry about pasting conversions that have been already uploaded.

Yep just as frgmnts said, get it from your network.

On a cake platform such as F5… You want to go to “reports” on the left hand side, then select “conversion report”.
Filter it to get the conversions you’d like. It should look something like this…

For me, subid2 is what I’m interested in.

Export it to excel and delete all the other columns except for the subid and price. Copy these

Paste them into Voluum. Make sure there’s a comma after the subid before the payout.

Also, another option is to call the conversion manually. Take the link below and paste it in your browser with the "BidhashHere" replaced with the actual Bidhash that you have.

Real question is how can you retroactively input costs..?

And how can you remove test conversions..?

Currently I believe you can do neither, it's just something on their roadmap. Retroactive cost updating isn't really that important since, for the most part, your cost/revenue stats will never be accurate except over the campaign average (unless you can export and import costs for specific variables for example).

Thank you very much for the detailed explanation Ruby Tunes

Actually there IS a way! Not for the conversion itself but for the cost yes!

Ninja trick:

lets say clickID (wWijflsakdfi9890sdk) has currently a conversion value of 20 USD, but you want to change it to 5$. So go to the conversion upload tab and do this:
wWijflsakdfi9890sdk, -15

Did this a few months ago and it worked, should still work. Let us know

That way you can always alter the payout value but never get rid of the actual conversion

Good luck
