I was considering launching a few call-in tech support offers in some pop/redirect networks. I was wondering if this was a bad idea...? I doubt any traffic source would approve these, so I'd have to cloak? Would I be pushing buttons at the FTC by running these campaigns?
No traffic source will allow scareware, it's a good way to get your accounts banned.
The FTC has been cracking down hard on that niche, you can find stories all over the forum about it.

Agree with Brent. It is really high risk right now...even with cloaking. Heard about a few affs getting popped too....
where did you hear about affs getting popped and how so?
