Reporo asking for 5000$ min Deposit (21)
I decide to singup in Reporo to start mobile campaign. I have added them on skype for fast approval and they want for new advertisers 5000$ min deposit. Are those guys serious ?
$5000 is a reasonable deposit for the type of advertisers that Reporo likes to work with.
It's a good traffic source.
It can also be a real test of patience for anybody overly used to self-serve platforms.
Support is not the fastest, and you're dependent on them to make changes and launch campaigns -- probably why they're filtering new advertisers to avoid stretching staff any further.
Ok ill avoid it for now couse i cant deposit 5k for now.
Yeah its a very different source to get used to thats for sure, wasn't aware of the $5000 deposit though that will definitely keep the quality of advertisers higher
There is no 5k min deposit. I know guys that are in for 1k. Try to negotiate with them and show them that you're a serious advertiser, not time waster. Also keep in mind that the rep always will go for max - his job is to sell 
agree! you can get the min down to 1 or 2k. grab the phone and call them!
I started off with $500 on reporo!
This minimum deposit stuff at traffic sources seams to be random somethimes, or just they the account reviewer testing you out.
If you anyway going to use 5k try to write in a clausul in an agreement with them that if you spend let say 2 k testing and it does not work out that you can get a refund on the ballance .
I also started off with only $500, but that was a little over a year ago, so maybe they changed the min deposit in the meantime.
One thing worth noting is that Reporo has a couple different offices and reps all around the globe depending on which GEOs you want to run in (which makes communication overhead even worse...), so the min deposit might also differ based on that.
A $5k min deposit isn't that bad at all for reporo. Great source, tons of room to scale, some of the best support out there with maybe the exclusion of Traffic Force.
Like Finch mentioned managed buys can take every spec of patience you've got. If they allowed you to ad serve and cut placements it'd take a ton of weight off support.
They go pretty hard on the selling part. They tried to get me to prepay $25k for a test lol.
Make sure you talk to a rep, it can be negotiated down without much fuss.
Has anyone switched reps with reporo?
I wouldn't mind trying them again, but it seemed like my rep was always unavailable.
yeah for me they asked 3K first deposit , good quality but there is not an option to optimise by sites which is very annoying

The reps at Reporo are under a tremendous amount of pressure to sell. In the last year, two of my reps (for different geos) were let go. So try not to take their attempts at boosting revenue personally. Just negotiate professionally, while bearing in mind that to do well on a source like this you will need a much higher testing budget than most other adult traffic networks.
