Hi, I have a question about landing pages, how do you ask for emails? Should you require an email to get through to the sales page (but I feel like this would hurt click through rate) or should you have a separate box to pick up emails but then have a "Get The Deal" button (then I feel like you're trying to do too many separate things). Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm very new at this. Also, is a landing page even necessary if the ad you're linking to already is a landing page (like this http://oldschoolnewbody.com/osnb.php)?
You're probably gonna lose a lot of traffic by forcing an opt in before they get to the sales page. Your lander vs their lander comes down to split testing. A good method depending on the niche is to offer a free report or something of value first to get people to opt in to your list and then send them off to the sales page but again requiring any action before they get to the sales page will result in click loss. Best thing would be to test all of these things to figure out which path is most profitable.
