Hey buddy. Nice work getting your feet wet and diving in!
Your stats don’t look toooo bad… But 20c seems like a very low payout. Perhaps you’ve gotta boost the CTR to make it profitable, or perhaps there’s a reason no one else is running the offer.
Would you care to post the offer on here?
I've added three new landing pages today. The 2nd was similar to the first pages (still 3 questions, just slightly restuctured and a new picture used), and two others were just pages with some text and "Continue" button. Those (LP3 and LP4) showed two times better CTR (for obvious reasons), will keep testing whether CR will also grow

Hey dimarider,
Not too long ago I was in your shoes, wondering what stats were "good" and what I should aim for.
Right now I see banner CTR% as a relative figure for comparing banner ads against one another.
As you may soon begin to notice, different websites, traffic sources will give you different stats.
I believe it is because they each have different audiences and layouts and will therefore drive different behaviors.
So to answer your question: CPC is what really matters - whether it can stack up against your EPV or not. CTR% is more useful for quick reference and comparison.
Anyway, this is just my current perspective which I am trying to evolve everyday and I hope that it at least gives you food for thought
Like you, I am still shooting for a decent profit/day!
However, currently I'm buying banner traffic via CPC model, and I'm starting to understand that when I switch to CPM (that is obviously more effective and valuable), I'll just lose money because of the CTR. So at this moment I just want to understand HOW I can make high CTR banners regardless of their conversion rate.Got 3 times more traffic comparing to yesterday. The sad thing is CTR of my landing pages went down. Well, each of the page received around 300 clicks, guess it's enough for the 'real' numbers to be shown. Right now CTR of my pages is around 30%. However, the conversion rate of LP1 is 14.50% comparing to 5% and 4% of the others. This makes me happy
I've also made my own banners using the content from the advertiser. Well, not good... I made 6 banners, each one got 30K impressions. The best banner has shown the 0.10% CTR. This doesn't make me happy
I decided to continue experimenting with banners, and new landing pages, and start a new offer with a better payout. I'm aiming at German or French DOI offer with a payout of $3-5. Hope I won't be eaten by sharks on this market
DAY 3
Visits: 740
Clicks: 211
Conversions: 17
Global LP CTR 28.51%
Global CR 8.06%
Profit: ($15.10)
ROI: -81.62%
Yeah I don’t normally use content from the advertiser, affiliate banners are pretty much always better I find.
I also think you should be testing 2 or 3 offers at the same time.
I decided to filter out traffic sources by the spots. Previously I was purchasing mixed spots (NTV, footer, and didn't touch the "In-video" ones). So I decided to exclude footer, and run separate "NTV" and "In-video" campaigns. Well, the results were obvious, but amazing for me. The "In-video" campaign was shitty. No conversions at all. But the banner CTR got higher. Of course I expected it to be worse, but 150 clicks, and no conversions....
Another thing I was upset by is my own banners. I decided to make a simple animation banner that would match my LP. Gee.... I've got an exclusive nice looking banner with CTR of 0.04% (100K imps). Crushed
