Automating AdWords Tasks?

Does anyone here have experience using HeroPro or similar tools to automate AdWords tasks? Thank you.

yea heroPro is good idea but if you need some custom stuff beeing done in adwords you can use their native API for it
and let a coder create the functions for you

You can also try adwords scripting and automated rules(much easier)

We do agency work (approx. 50-100 accounts) and have had found decent value in terms of reducing staff time with repetitive tasks with Optmyzr. It's in the same class as HeroPro and has some similar tools. We demo'ed both tools, but to be honest we experimented with HP soon after it was released, I believe it has evolved and improved recently (but not sure on that point).

Not making the case that one is better than the other, I really think it comes down to what your particular needs are and how you (or team members) feel about the interface itself. There is a learning curve to both and you get out what you invest in time and getting over that learning curve.

We especially like the auto optimization features of Optmyzer, it's easy to slice and dice the data and point out info or areas that need attention.

Kenshoo is excellent for Adwords.
