I think online it will be big especially for e-commerce platform, because if you can pay with your finger print on mobile, conversions will rocket. I wonder if mobile content offers will also incorporate that flow- tap to download/tap to subscribe etc.

i was thinking about this when apple pay was first announced as well . my mobile conversions r real shit compared to desktop even though the traffic is coming from exact same web site-url the conversion rate is about 50-75% lower. but if you can approve the payment and get all the details with just a thump print it should at least double the desktop conversion rate.
think it will come a day where our web sites can accept apple pay ?
I think it's in everyone's interest to make payments as fast and easy as possible. However like in every advancement in tech there will be some issues to overcome. I can only imagine that chargebacks rates will increase significantly ( "I clicked to pay button by accident" ) hackers faking finger prints and so on. But I do think that's where we're going. Devices will start recognizing us by our fingerprints, eyes, installed chips in our bodies. Sounds amazing and super scary at the same time.
