Hi STMers,
I've run my first campaign this night:
Offer: Quikr, CPI, India
Traffic Source: Decisive
CPM: 0.15
I've set up 4 campaign (wifi/mobile, app/site), with 4 banners each, only direct linking.
I know it too early after only about 8 hours the offer is running, but I'd want to share my partial result (0 conversions):

What should I do ?
I do not have any conversion and for this reason I don't know how to begin with otpimizations, such as placement cut and so on.
Maybe do I have to try with others banner ? Increse the traffic and so the CTR ?
The offer seems to be valid(maybe to competitive ?), is capped and yesterday late afternoon reach the cap.
Waiting for some advices for all of you!
Luca
Hey, anyone out there giving me advices ?
My first campaign totals:
run 8 hours, then paused
about $60 spend
0 conversions
obviously -100% ROI
Anyway, today after I've paused the campaign, the offer reached its cap, today about 4 hours before than yesterday.
Meanwhile I've created the hindi-translated version of my banners and set up a 2 campaigns to launch tomorrow.
This time only wifi/mobile site and not app, since site yesterday performed better in terms of CTR. No blacklisted sites, but I'd want to start the campaign in the early morning and run strong for 3/4 hours before cap reaches its limit(I expect the same cap-reaching timing tomorrow).
I've setup a CPM of 0.3 that should bring good wins(I hope) and $30/daily for both campaigns.
What do you think guys ?
My 2 cents: Pick another angle. If you still don't have any conversions, pick another offer.
Your angle is either not strong enough or on the back end something is wrong. Check the links through if they work. Or if there are conversions on your affliate network that is not tracked on your tracker. If all the back end is ok, then it's time to try a new angle.
Yeh you can't do anything with a data window with zero conversions. You can however churn through it to see if there's anything that stands out - i.e. did your budget get chewed up by 1-2 publishers, is your data skewed towards a certain platform etc, does the offer accept that platform etc etc.. Then find out if there are any issues with the offer or the traffic you sent - talk to your am.
Obviously when you've got zero conversions either something is wrong, you've sent the wrong traffic or your angle isn't going to work. The first 2 are easy to eliminate, the other not so however there's no way around testing angles until you find what sticks. Simple as that.
I doubt on the network you are using. Many CPA network scrub Indian Leads and Advertiser also..
Flipkart does same.
Quikr was also my first campaign. I was about to waste a lot more time on it, then I found this STM post. Apparently it's a dud:

Hey Mauluc how did you get on with this?
I am currently in the same boat on one of my campaigns. I'm going to try a different angle and set up a new campaign with a different offer at the same time
