Traffic Junky Bidding Too High To Profit?

Based on the intense competition out there on Traffic Junky, especially in the US, bidding wars are driving the bid prices up. Is it still possible to profit from Traffic Junky from a newbie with not a lot of experience, but with a low budget of 5k?

Some guys will say yes, some will say no.

l think you need to jump in the river to find out if you can swim.

Maybe try with some specific international traffic, but not US. Just my 2cents.

I never say never, but the odds are stacked heavily against you.

As a new comer to AD you're
going to be competing against guys who have possibly double the offer payout you do. Not to
Mention a lot of experience and systems for moving quick.

There are a lot of quality sources outside of TJ that are far less competitive. Shoot for the low hanging fruit while you're learning the ropes.

You won't know until you try.
Competition is fierce, but you can bid only on certain ISPs that have high CTR and better conversions. You won't get as much traffic as others do, but you can still make some money

It takes a brave newbie to go anywhere near the US market on TrafficJunky.

You have to be equipped with an incredible funnel and a great offer (on the best possible terms).

Or you need an exclusive offer with a fresh database.

If what you're promoting is a) publicly available on networks, or b) on a street payout... then it's probably a waste of time.

Makes a whole lot of sense. Thanks Finch. Any direction on which traffic source I should move to in adult mobile for a newbie?

Thanks thebrent. Can you point me to the right direction where the low hanging fruits are? Thanks.

If I were just starting out, I'd probably try to find an offer in a tier 3 country that is new or at least still converting.

Traffic source wise, I'd give juicy ads a shot! They have a new feature that allows you to buy specific countries for specific placements. It used to be an all geo, mixed bag, when you bought placements.

btw, feel free to pm any questions!
