Incent and Adult allowed on non-adult offers. Good or bad for newbs? (1)

Hey all, I'm new to the forum. I'm trying to run mobile banner ads. I was looking through some offers and found a few that allowed "incentivized traffic".

I know what incentivized traffic is in theory, but in practice I'm not sure what that entails. So I guess the advice I'm look for here is this:

What are general tactics for incent traffic

As a newbie, is that something I should stay away from cuz I'll just get smacked down by the pros?

Same questions for offers that are non-adult, yet allow adult banners. I've heard the adult world is really competitive; so is that an offer I should shy away from since experienced players may just knock me out?
