Missing half of FB traffic (11)

Missing half of FB traffic

Hi there!

According to my tracker, I receive twice as less clicks than FB shows. I know it might happen if FB blocked the link (blacklisted your domain). But now the link seems to be working (at least it works when in preview). The more weird fact is that I have another campaign with the same domain, and there I receive all the clicks. The only difference between those two is targeting. I recreated that campaign multiple times, changed the domain, but the problem is still there.

The only post I found in the internet is this - https://www.facebook.com/help/commun...52690806178289 - nothing useful, some autoreply.

Does any of you pro-stackers have seen this issue?

I ran one campaign from the 17th to the 20th with Huge variations in the click numbers

Date | Facebook website Clicks| Analytics Clicks
17/03/2015 4,202 2,415
18/03/2015 4,247 2,670
19/03/2015 4,138 2,622
20/03/2015 2,410 1,601

Totally killed me!

Which geo did you run? I notice this in UK, and other countries are ok.

this was UK - male & female 35 to 65 - 1 big audience

Interesting.. I've checked my links via UK proxies, they worked. Do you think some ISPs may block specific domains?

Are you using Voluum? I had some issues on much lower-figures a month or so back when I was running some Facebook. I heard on the grapevine I wasn't alone but I haven't seen any issues confirmed anywhere.

following the missing traffic - I set up some tracking urls using Voluum. To establish if the link was actually being clicked on rather than the page not loading. I used the free account at Voluum and all the clicks got blocked with the something has gone wrong message.

Spent £250 in dead clicks

take a look at this post: http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...amp-Ad-Preview

you need a custom domain which is black listed when using Voluum

I use custom domains and custom tracking solutions. Note, that domain I use work with other geos. Wicked

Need more info here. You say you're losing clicks but in the first place 90% of people confuse website clicks with clicks, get confused about what they're paying for, then mismatch time zones and may look at unique rather than raw clicks in their tracker/network.

Present something coherent and things will probably become clearer.
