Dude, I'm not sure what happened to this guy. I'm one of the examples he listed above, which I was very happy with as I mentioned above. However, I paid him a couple months ago $250 to do another project for me. Since he'd done work for me before I was happy to pay him 100% in advance. I did, he told me he didn't have internet for a few days... then nothing.

Frankly, I don't give a shit about $250, but I do have the skrill receipts and skype screenshots to verify everything that I've said. Which I'm happy to share with mods to prove the veracity of what I'm saying. I'm not normally one to just call someone out and we all do dumb shit sometimes, but I've seen the odd bit of traffic coming to my from this thread where it was used as an example of his work, so I thought it prudent to not only mention this here for the sake of the community, but also because there's more to the story now than I mentioned above in my review.

So Sergein, I'm sure you're subscribed to your own thread. I hope your'e ok and that there's some mis-understanding. We all go through hard times, whatever. I completely forgive you, it's not the end of the world for me and I'm not looking to be paid back, or for retribution in anyway. The money can now be a gift. But I feel like I was a nice guy and deserve an explanation, but if not. I'd like my site to not be used as an example of a satisfied customer any longer and you can simply remove it from your example list above.

@talking50: K, I am super glad to hear from you and that you don't hold grudge against me. The project that we're stuck on (and which has no relation to this service) has become my biggest "frog" (explanation )that I have to eat and it's on my plate every morning. I want the result to be great and worth the wait but it has become one of those "as a favor" project that requires tons of energy and time but gets lost in between orders all the time. Viral content sites are better online properties than one time offer landers. Let me explain why:

• You build your social following which gives you constant access to relevant traffic free of charge
• You can set up list building script (with mailchimp, aweber etc.), so you can update your newsletter subscribers with regular CPA offers.

I have 8 years background with seo projects and have come up with the idea of “borrowing” somebody else’s content when found out that you can buy traffic in hundreds of places thanks to STM.

It’s always a good idea to start with scraped site, get some audience and following and slowly repopulate it with unique content so that you could join the “big shots” and apply for adsense and such.


Do you need an example from me of a site i like or are they all pretty standard ?

Yeah. Usually my clients come to me with the sites they want to scrape. I can also run viral analysis for them to better understand which articles to promote on fb etc.

How often do you feel you should update the content on a site like this? I assume this is what you reference as follow up scraping.

It can be set up to daily scraping/updates. With SEO, it’s best to update such sites with 3-5 articles daily to make sure search engines get used to the fact that the site is regularly updated and therefore should be visited by search spiders more often.

Also if you have any other examples of these sites besides the howlifeworks that i can look at and you think would be something to get my feet wet.
