Affiliate Summit East - New York 2015

Just been looking for apartments and signed up for the ASE 2015.

Have never been to an Affiliate Summit and wonder what the biggest points on my list should be?
I noticed different access passes at different price points.

Also I am 19 and it seems like you have to be 21 (are the looking at IDs to check?) - if I could not get access it would be a complete joke.
And if not should I go anyways / how much is the part of the events that's officially controlled worth compared to private meetups and parties?

Cheers,
Kevin

You mean ASE I think. Pretty sure you have to show ID to pick up your badge. I would ask the organizers for an exception. Think your out of luck for the after parties.

Yep ASE corrected it.

Maybe I should consider it, even though I think sneaking through would work better haha.
Or shoot some guns instead of going to the parties

In New York a lot of the parties are at clubs, where their bouncers check IDs. I don't think it would be the smartest choice of event to go to if you can't get a pass.

You will definitely not get into most of the clubs at night if a bouncer is actually there checking ID's. They're extremely strict about this since the city itself polices that heavily. If the bouncers are treating it as a work event and it's during the day, you may be able to.

Thanks for the feedback!

First though: Probably not the best choice to go there.
Second though: Wait a second... if I can't figure out a way to get into a bar with ridiculous age restrictions, how should I be able to build a million dollar company that'll challenge me thousand times more

Tickets will be booked today, looking forward to see you in New York

Concerning the event itself - speeches and the trade floor are a place to go or rather something you should avoid? Something must-do that's not obvious at first sight?

I went to ASE2014. For me it was meh.

I made far more money building relationships with product owners and traffic networks at the various afterparties.

Love your attitude!!!! I was 17 when I attended my first Affiliate Summit in Las Vegas.

Here's what I did:

At the registration desk I told the lady who asked for my ID that I left it in my hotel room's safe because I tend to lose it and it's too risky for me to carry it around... I showed her my business card instead, it had my company details, name and a photo of me on it. She had no doubt I was there for business.

Regarding the clubs... At 17 I didn't bother going to the parties, but at age 18 at AdTech which was in NYC I made sure to have an ID with me. I asked for my friend's ID who kinda looked like me and was older. I got in with no problem.

I'm just an all-time risk taker and love challenges, you seem to be the same!!

^^ Search around a little on net. You can buy fake ID's all over the place now with bitcoin.
