Is POF still the best choice for a starter? (6)
Hey,
I am wondering what is the honest opinion of the big affiliates here about POF right now because I am about to start my journey on POF and Dating. As far as I know, POF was a great traffic source for newbies to start AM a few years back, but how about now? Isn't it too competitive / saturated?
I've heard some rumours about POF these days, saying that us, newbies should start with Facebook or Mobile instead of POF because it does not worth it.
What is your opinion (POF veterans)? Do you think that I still have a shot without loosing thousands of dollars to learn the basics and start making a few hundreds daily? Or should I search for another traffic source?

Last I heard POF is no longer accepting new ad accounts, so if you dont already have one, that might make your choice easier
Yeah, that's true! Fortunately, I already have a POF ad account, so I'm ready. Forgot to mention that earlier
I started with POF myself.. it was only to familiarize myself with setting up a campaign and tracking - I quickly transitioned those skills to Mobile. Though some affiliates make pretty good bank on POF, but mobile has more growth potential simply due to the amount of traffic and verticals. Where POF is limited in that aspect.
I did find the it was easier to make and set up campaigns with POF.
POF is still a great place to start off with and again, some guys made it work really well.
Yeah POF was my first source too. It’s still a good place to learn for sure, you’ll get the basics down - banner creation, targeting, stat analysis, optimisation etc.
Buuuuut it doesn’t have the same instant scale potential as mobile. Generally POF is gonna require you making and managing a whole lot of small campaigns in order to do decent figures.
I would still recommend it as a place to learn the basics, but personally I transitioned as I would rather have a few big campaigns rather than micro manage (although there are tools to help with this for POF).
