I am more of a visual learner, so if there is any video tutorials of people using the same process and programs as the cookbook please let me know! OR if there are any helpful videos with a similar process and programs, I am interested. Thanks!
I'm also a visual leaner. But since there were no videos and the guide is extremely detailed I had no problem following it.
I think the best way you can do it is to just get your feet wet and start. And just in case you run into any problems or have any questions, people here are more than happy to help 
Once you start, you'll get the experience and the technical things just get easier and easier.
Okay yeah I think thats the route I will be taking, are those programs that they use in the cookbook still good and relevant?
Absolutely !
If you read the follow along threads, you will see affiliates making bank with it.
Its more of a starter guide, you can move onto more advance techniques afterwards.
The Mobile cookbook itself is worth getting a membership on STM alone
