Hi, fellow STMers,
I have been running Power Clean for close to two weeks and some overall stats are as follows,
Total conversions so far: 2900
Traffic Source: Avazu dspm
Network: AppFlood
Payout: $0.18
One geo only.
CTR average: 1.36%
CR average: 2.25%
eCPM: 0.08
eCPA: 0.28
The problem seems to be more I optimized (i.e.: cutting out bad banners, Inventory sources, inventory type, inventory transparency and testing different frequency capping (Number of caps per IP/Device)), the eCPA seems to get higher instead. For the life of me, I just couldn't get the it drop below my Payout amount, hence, I am still not in the Green.
I can of course test more angles, and make more banners. But is that really the problem? Or is it time to drop it because of its low payout? With a low payout offer, should I need to at least see, say, a 10% CR to see myself in the Green?
Enclosed the screenshot of the active tests I am still running... I think I will need to get out and breath some fresh air! I have a feeling that if I keep staring at the people in white passing the ball or expecting to see the black Gorilla to appear, I probably don't see the curtain changing color in the background! Argh..!
Thanks guys!

I've done 3-5k/day on offers lower than $0.25. The payout isn't the problem.
The payout itself doesn't really matter because there are so many variables in between.
For example I remember testing the same offer on 2 networks. One payed 1.2$ the other 1$. The 1$ outperformed the 1.2$ payout offer.
Why?
Probably redirects, shaving and other factors I don't even know about.
I love low payouts because testing is so cheap, you can cut placements and make decisions on the fly.
If I were you, I would not obsess too much about the payout but constantly test new things until you have a winning campaign. Sometimes there are offers you just cant make work, so instead of trying for ages to get them in the green just work on things that have a higher effect on your ROI. For example angles/landers/rotating offers.
I know many ppl say keep trying, don't give up etc. Me personally I give up on campaigns very fast, I just keep coming up with new ones until I see one with potential, then I fully focus on that one and scale it up.
