I am looking to get into PPCall marketing through Google Adwords. I used to do Adwords years back for promoting CPA offers but got all my campaigns suspended when they came down heavily on affiliates using "Bridge Pages" for promoting CPA offers. I tried building authority sites to please Google Adwords but then my CVR rate plummeted down, so I stopped doing that.
I wanted to know from successful PPCall marketers, when you guys build your landing pages to promote these offers on Adwords, do you guys build authority sites for them or does Google have less stringent requirements for landing pages for such ads as these are call-only or mobile targeted ads?
I'm not a success - yet. But from what I've seen, you don't need an authority site at all. You should have at least a privacy policy page. I've seen people get away without running a terms of condition page, but I have always run one.
Welcome to the party!
Personally I have been setting up sites with a home page with original content, a privacy policy and contact page, then I add new pages if the campaign works to help with quality, there is no need to build an authority site in my opinion.
Just look at some of the stuff that is already running, some small local advertisers have horrible thin sites with very little content but they run for ever without problem.
