Traffic source: DNTX, PopAds, PopCash, ZeroPark
Vertical: Pin Submits
Offer(s): Antivirus [All Carriers]
Geos: PL, GH
Budget: $25/day per campaign
Bids: Average $0.01 in PL, $0.016 in GH
Angles: I will be testing out five aggressive angles on LPs.
Campaign structure: I'm using RON traffic on each network,
Landing pages: Landing Page Album
Landing pages load time: 560ms-750ms
Updates: Daily, with complete transparency. I will answer any questions posed about the campaigns and I am extremely thankful for criticism and suggestions.
Total Spend: $40.46
Revenue: $4.40
Net profit/loss: -$36.06
Actions I took: Launched Campaign. Implemented tracking through
The first LP in that album is the least successful, with ~100 visitors and 0 clicks, the second is the most successful with ~110 visitors and 23 clicks. They aren't leading to conversions, but there seems to be some click loss between the LP and the offer page through F5. [Action: Rotate with an offer from Clickdealer to see if the problem is F5]
Current tasks: Track performance of Landing Pages.
Implement Handset callouts, reference country at least one in each ad copy.
have you tested those landers with screen size of older android devices? I fear most the scan / cta buttons will be lost off the bottom of the screen for a lot of users in the geos you are running, because of the text overload.
The smallest device I have is an iPhone 4 screen (320x480) and the CTAs are still above the fold. Currently averaging about an 8% clickthrough rate and a 1.5% overall conversion rate.
Right now the hardest issues is almost networks do not allow the Missleading Banner and Langding pages ( I knew we can to cloak the landing page for the network, but how to got the banner for approval, This situations is not conducive to promote the pin sumbit offers like us who did that
Resuming Ralphy, you can use back script and JS-popup window, but do not use everything in one time, duplicate lp and make split testing.
Testing new angles is the right thing to do. thinking out of the box will allow you to be one step a head of the competitors.
I 100% agree with affiliaxeguy; I would strongly recommend not to use any misleading banners or misleading LPs unless the advertiser/network has given you clear permission to do so, and preferably when you have received a prepayment for the traffic you are delivering. You are still doing small numbers so you probably won't get caught, but from the moment you get on a network's radar (i.e. do a few hunderd bucks a day, consistently) then they'll investigate it deeper. Its very important as a (starting) affiliate, to always respect the campaign conditions/T&C.
