Looking for something to generate some alternative revenue to build up my budget
I have a good bit of money but would like to have something going on the side to get a little extra "beer money" while I'm learning AM.
Any suggestions? (I am good with photoshop, and video editing software, and blogging)

Fiverr you can make good beer money there .
If you wants to invest in something you can always try to buy a existing site on Flippa.com that have some small revenue .

Well yeah, but most of the regular buyers buy to build up a stable monthly income , they buy x amount of smaller cheaper sites that is not so old but have content and traffic , that has small adword revenue let says 100 -300 usd per month. . Also you can find existing business for long time that are for sale, also new sites that has no significant revenue just created ready to promote .
My advice is to check the the sellers with good reviews. Also check the economics a lot on the deals. But you can defentily buy your way to a steady revenue stream monthly...
A friend of mind bought an American sport picking site selling daily pics . That had revenue for last 5 years and good reviews . He bought it for 30k and got the money back in less than 6 month. But that is really a success story and he is in the business himself in US as a private bookmaker.
you got ask also why people sell a profitable business?
but most important question there revenues, and ask to see the paypal account, and adword account before you agree on deals ..and such statement to see the revenue is real

I would caution you to be very careful on Flippa. As someone who tracks their listings almost daily, I would estimate 80-90% of the "revenue generating" sites are problematic - no sufficient proof of income (don't trust screenshots), lack of true expenses and no site analytics are the biggest problems. Unfortunately, there are a lot of scammers there and anything that says "newbie friendly" or "site runs by itself" should be avoided.
With that said, you can find a diamond in the rough, but they are few and far between.

Correct-o-mundo
Pump-and-dump. Use bot traffic to inflate page views / adsense for a week... get adsense payout (which probably will get cancelled in next cycle).. and shazam.. artificial value.
How do I know this? because believe it or not.. there are VC funded companies in silicon valley that do this... desperate founders seeking exit often do this. One of them even approached me about it.
Shady as f*ck.
