google analytics and impressions (6)

google analytics and impressions

Hi,

Yesterday I paid for the 3,100 impressions (popunders) on exoclick. However, according to GA I received just 2,300 pageviews. In other words I lost more than 25% of traffic. Please let me know if it's OK. Thanks.

The 2nd question is the click loss between my tracker and the advertiser. According to the tracker stats I received 1,350 clicks, however only 450 reached the advertiser's landing page (according to the MaxBounty statistics). 67% loss.

Depressed

Are you using google analytics on your landing page...?

What tracker are you using…?

Here's my layout:
Exoclick => Landing page (Mine) => External tracker => Advertiser's (Offer) LP

Numbers:
3100 (imps) => 2300 clicks => 1300 clicks => 1280 clicks

The GA is installed on my landing page, so it shows what I'm getting directly from exo. I'm using a custom tracking solution, but it doesn't come into play in my case, as you can see. The question is discrepancy between exo numbers, and GA (25% difference) which is too much IMHO. The only idea coming to my mind is 25% of users have popup/popunder blocking solutions.

This looks pretty normal, you’ll find a lot of people close the window before it loads - so you’ll pay for the pop but the user won’t actually ever get to your lander.

Hi,

Wow, news for me. Actually, I've never paid attention to this before. So, in other words, 25% click loss is totally fine for pops, and I shouldn't complain to exo? This is bad then, I was hoping the loss is around 5-7%.

Hi,

Another update: I've now switched to banner only traffic. Some numbers: of 104 clicks on the network I received only 83, in other words 20% click loss on the banner traffic. For the 2nd campaign I had 60/55 ratio, i.e. 9% loss. Is it normal?

Thnx.
