What's your typical CTR?

Hello fellow PPV masters or to-be PPV masters!

Wondering what your typical CTR is... and what is the single biggest factor that gave it the boost.

Has any of our ballers here hit over 50%? Just check'in what is possible.

I'm struggling to keep CTR over 5/6% in US

2-10%. (US, email/zip submit.)

I've found that CTRs of at least 10% are necessary if using Lead Impact due to the high minimum bid price.

On some other cheaper sources you can make some nice ROIs on CTRs as low as 3-4%

I'm pushing for that 10%.

I generally average around 7.9-11% fairly consistently. Often they are in the high 6%'s as well. Most landers bomb hard at 2-3%, which is why I usually make 8 completely different ones at a time (when testing initially). I've found some decent layouts this way.

It's my conversion rates that suck. If I had an 8-10% CR on these landing pages, which I don't feel is unreasonable to shoot for, I would be positive every day.

This is U.S. dating traffic.

Generally speaking I'd agree with everyone else and say that around 10% is a great CTR for almost any offer. 15-20% can be considered baller status, but this only happens when you have a very unique angle, highly relevant target, or a very good landing page. 50% is near impossible, but never rule anything out...... I've had targets that got 30%+ ctr but then again they didn't get that much volume...... As far as the single biggest factor that influences CTR, I'm not sure you can pinpoint one particular thing as there are too many factors that come into play. The short list I'd look at is:

1. Offer relevance to target. Example: if you pop a pizza hut email submit on pizzahut.com you can easily get a 10% or higher ctr with just a simple "screenshot" lander. In my experience branded email submits popped over the corresponding brand's URL are a piece of cake to get a high ctr, but they scrub like a mofo and most offers don't convert from the get go, so ctr doesn't help out if you have a bad offer.....

2. Offer angle. Coming up with a unique angle can help with ctr, even if your target isn't really relevant to your offer.

3. Miscellaneous landing page tricks. I'd check out these tutorials to get an idea of what can help you out (http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...-Tricks-PART-1)
