Amount of clicks does influence the amount of traffic you get?

Hi guys,

The amount of clicks you get does influence the amount of traffic you get....right?

Does it influence the amount of bids you get?
Or..... does it influence the amount of wins you win?

Thanks

Every traffic source is different.

For most RTBs it's done on ecpm. Which basically translates how much you money you make the RTB per 1000 impressions it serves you.

So if you bid CPM, the network doesn't actually care how many clicks you get because you are paying a fixed fee per 1000 impressions.

If you bid CPC then you will toggled based on how high your CTR is.

Ok thanks that is clear.

However, I see another pattern: is the amount of bids influenced by the amount of conversions I get? Because I uploaded a lot of new banners to learn, conversions dropped but also the amount of bids? ow i kinda forgot: i also blacklisted some stuff. But still the question holds....

p.s. i do not use smart cpm

Ok but lets take another factor: budget. This does influence the amount of traffic.. right?
But what does that mean?
- Do you get more bids?
- Or do you get a higher % wins of those bids?

Thanks

Thanks!

Decisive. But I am also asking in general, but i suppose indeed every traffic source is different. So.. ok. Decisive.

It also happened to me when uploading new creative.

Usually the conversions come back regular after a few hours (6-12). I think it's a discrepancies of the system and split testing.

For the budget: yes it does affect indeed the amount of traffic - and speed of it.
You generally get more spot to bids one - which may usually occur in a small boost of wins %.

If you've more specific question - I advise to address them to Decisive team as they'll know more than everybody here!

Hi Guys,

Bids are not influenced by clicks nor conversions (on manual cpm).

Account balance under $50 will slow bidding

Budget of an ad is not as significant a bidding factor as Daily limit. Daily limit is the largest brake on bidding you can use. It will try and smooth your spend slowly over the day to match the limit set. So if it is very low you will slow your own campaigns significantly.
