Bing conversion tracking?

has anyone ever managed to get bing conversion tracking to work with an affiliate offer? i have tried both their java and image pixels, secure/unsecure, on cake and hitpath networks. never had any luck. their support won't know the issue either.

what kind of offer is this? if it's mobile CPI, won't work since it's postback

Bing conversion pixels are slow as hell.. i've seen conversions recorded & show into the dashboard sometimes as late as few hours

desktop offer. works fine with other iframe, image, java pixels.

but this is not an issue of delayed reporting. i'm 100% not seeing conversions at all

Did you test this on the same offer?

I used it in the past and worked fine.

Bing has a new conversion pixel and it doesn't seem to work with Cake. I had this issue also and after some back and forth they confirmed this back in Jan.

Yup, here's the problem: the Bing pixel should be placed on all pages. Because they 'upgraded' it and its now called Bing Analytics or some shit. Tested it out on some of my own offers and by god it worked for the first time in years

In the tracking they are now offering you can also set duration or pages per visit goals, when you think about it these things can only be measured when a pixel is placed throughout the site...

Of course no advertiser in their right mind is going to have you stuff their site full of Bing pixels. So I guess postbacks are your only option as far as convo tracking goes

Following up on this thread. I really want to know how to track conversions on Bing Ads in the interface as opposed to on Voluum. Going back and forth to Voluum to Bing Ads interface to change bids is getting really annoying, especially when you have a good amount of keywords. Anybody have a workaround. Been struggling to get one for a while.

choose destination url as the type of conversion and choose regular expression and write /*. for the value. so this means the conversion will be recorded no matter where it is executed regardless of time/url etc. i also don't understand why those big corps make things so hard sometimes. it took me a while to figure this out and it is not written anywhere on the web. so i had to find out this myself

Hey theking,

Thanks for the response! I really hope this works. It would save a lot of headache.

Am I simply writing /* into the destination url without the actual url. Like this? http://puu.sh/l2vEZ/997edaef0a.png

check "regular expressions" in settings. in your settings "equals to" is chosen now.
and the value should be /*.
in yours it is /*

im confused .. what do you mean by setting? settings where?
do i need to put example "/*http://www.advertiserdomain/thankyoupage.php" like that?
how will bing know what the sale completion page is unless?
