Need a little help understanding these stats from go2mobi

Hello Everyone,

New member to the forum and my first question. So far I have just been testing a few campaigns with low budget of around $10, to get the hang of buying traffic, creating campaigns and creatives and reading the stats etc.

I put a campaing on Go2Mobi promoting a banner, nothing special just wanted some stats, but it looks like im paying over the odds for impressions. $10+ spend for 400~ impressions. Is this usual?

Should mention:

Targetting: site/app, Android/IOS, UK Only, Bid Auto

appreciate any input

Cheers.

Look at your CPM, $25+ per 1000 impressions.
I guess thats what auto-bid did for you.
Depending on placement it could be worth it but most likely not at all, you're paying close to $1 a click.

So say your offer pays $1, hard to get profitable there unless you double the ctr (which is already high)
if it pays over $1 then try to factor in how much traffic you lose in the funnel* (lp -> offer) and it could work.

*example: your lp clicks through at 30% and you convert 10% of those 30% -> $1 / 0.3 / 0.1 = $33 payout to break even min

Turn off autobid, set a lower cpm bid and see if you can still get traffic at certain prices.

Also, sometimes when bidding such a high cpm bid, on high volume placements/ron, you can overspend enormously, so watch out for that or know for sure how your trafficsource handles overspending

Thanks for the reply mate, I tested this yesterday in french, campaign was an exact copy just with french lander and french carriers targetted and got better results.

Why is it that the FR traffic got 2.25$ and the UK one got $25+? I changed auto bid on the UK campaign and traffic has stopped!

My offer pays out $6+ so this is definatly not worth doing on UK carriers.
