Hey Guys, can any of you pay per call guys update me on the current state of pay per call for alternative therapies?
My step mother is a homoeopath (yes i know its controversial, but i don’t judge) I was speaking with her today and it seemed like there could be some potential for her with pay per call or pay per skype, and with that model for alternative therapies in general. Is anyone running anything like this or know of alternative therapy focused affiliate setups?

I don't think Pay Per Call programs are really appropriate for people who are working for themselves (or very small companies). Chances are (not 100% of course) that if the program works well - she'll get flooded with calls everyday and be unable to handle all the work.
She's probably better off running a small AdWords campaign (or getting a SMB agency to do it) if the CPCs aren't too high.
I agree, I was more thinking along the line of a 3rd party (network) she could join or 3rd party I could start myself =D. I'm encouraging her to try a new model, like pay per call. Traditionally it seemed alternative therapists might use adwords to attract local traffic, but local demand is limited. If she took calls or video chat then its possible to go world wide.
You typically need a call center to effectively run a pay per call campaign as an advertiser. If it's just one person looking to buy phone calls, it's just not enough volume potential for a pay per call company to get involved. I think YP might be the easiest place for her to start.
