Traffic source for promoting online guitar lessons

Hi everybody,

I started a thread in the "Success story" section, even if mine is not yet a success story, but just a little more above the break even.
I'm running a website in the guitar niche, I'm affiliated to two big lessons sites, I created content, and so on. Here are the details
http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...e-guitar-niche

Now I have a spefici question: could you please suggest me some traffic sources for promoting this guitar lessons sites?

they pay me 30/40% for sale, the competition in this niche is really high, facebook ADS don't work because users are not in buying mode (I did some test, 0 conversions).

Currently I'm doing some test with PPC in 7search, bids are really low compared to Adwords, let's see the conversion.

thanks a lot

Test adwords even if you believe the avg CPCs are high. It's a deep traffic source, there is a lot of value you can extract from it if you spend the time with it.

Thanks Grandtheftpixel,

I forgot to say that the offers do not allow direct linking from Bing AD and Google Adwords, so I have to create my own landing page, and this could insert new variables to test...but you're right there's a lot of potential. thank you.

ohh right yeh and thin content etc.

Try the GDN (display). The targeting is pretty deep I am sure there is scope in there. Whats the conversion mechanic - sign up/sale?

the offers pay for sale, but they allow user to signup for free, providing limited access to the content (I'm not payed in this case).
Once users are into their mailing list, they start the email marketing funnel. If the user upgrades to the pay membership, I get the commission.
I'll try GDN and I'll let you know. Thank you!
