Run ad without creative approval?

Hey folks,

I'm still in the beginning phases of the Mobile Appetiser.

I have everything set-up nicely - approved for F5 and Decisive, selected an offer, developed 16 ad creatives myself.

However, I am pretty frustrated because the ads require approval, and I have been waiting to hear back for more than a week now - despite numerous follow-ups. How am I ever going to set up or change campaigns quickly if I have to wait 7+ days to get new creatives approved? Is this normal?

So, do I:

Thanks to anyone who can provide some guidance on this,

Dan

Don't run without it being approved. It's not an 'ask for forgiveness' situation. They won't pay you if you're running non-compliant shit.

If your AM is that slow -- ask for another one.

Thanks, mate. But unfortunately I don't have an AM. They won't assign one until I run traffic. Bit of a catch-22.

It's even more perplexing as I'm pretty sure my ads are fully compliant. Oh well, I guess I just have to keep pushing them.

I've never run a campaign so what I say may be considered worthless by most.

That being said, the safe business practices specimen in me is saying to wait and figure out a way to get faster approval rather than running non approved ads. It only puts you in a situation that poses you potential risk.

Any update with this?

Hmmn perhaps STM London caused a bit of a disruption? Email again and try pinging one of the F5 members on the forum. A week is not normal, though if the advertiser also needs to be shown creatives that can be another bottleneck

Can you grab a different offer that doesn't require approval, and run that for a bit? That may be the fastest way to prove you're serious.

Also, do email them - I believe there's a general F5 address that's given to new affiliates? There may be a specific hiccup happening that they can easily resolve.
