Hey guys,
hope everybody got home safe from london.
I have a some large publishers as clients who want me to monetize their inventory. It's a broad range of different topics (think news sites, traditional media companies etc), mostly premium and almost all of it in germany.
The volume is probably about 50 million AIs / day. It's a healthy chunk of the german ad market. My job is basically to make the maximum ammount of money out of it.
Some facts:
-- I can't use javascript ad codes (like Google AdSense). BUT I might be able to use JS if the ad network agrees to a couple things.
-- It's not OK to earn some money (like 1€/CPM), it has to be a lot
-- these are not my sites, but consulting clients of mine
-- the publishers get almost all of the money, I only get a very small share
-- needless to say, the publishers are on our side and want me to work on this
-- I can't use their existing direct media buys (which are often 20€ /cpm and up)
-- again, german traffic only
What I need is something like Appnexus or Adsense, but with a bit flexibility regarding the integration.
I know that there is a lot of crap getting posted on this forum, but I can assure you the numbers are real and provide proof.
Anybody here who can offer a solution? Or somebody who knows somebody who might?
Would prefer PMs!
Best,
Steve
The standard solution for these cases would be either native content syndication or an SSP that interfaces with exchanges.
Hi Steve, I've sent you PM...
How is an SSP supposed to work if we can't use javascript? (or only in a way that messes with tracking and would need to get pre-approved by EVERY ad exchange) I would love to be wrong, but that sounds a bit too good to be true.
*bump*
Anyone who wants some traffic?
Without javascript? It will be hard.50 Millionen impression is alot and i dont think you can sell it for 1$ CPM all of them. The best way is to make a mediakit with all the websites. And sell it to an big agency...they will get the best out of that.Cheers, khang from Berlin
