Adult Tube Site -- French Fry When I Should've Pizza'd??? (7)
Hi,
I jumped on a team with a couple successful local entrepreneurs and the mission is to create a successful (profitable) tube site.
For me as a young buck (25) I figured it would be a good project because it could give me some experience in internet marketing, building up traffic and so on. That being said, I'm also very research oriented so I became a member of IQ69, here and some other places and have seen a lot of disheartening posts that echo a negative sentiment throughout the majority of the adult community -- coming from the actual industry insiders themselves.
To me it's looking like the amount of effort/cash injection it would take to make a successful tubesite is senseless since you could inject those same resources into AM or another form of IM and probably generate a far superior cashflow. Is this assumption correct or am I in the wrong? I am genuinely curious.
I guess what I'm wondering is -- did I frenchfry when I should've pizza'd???

Its very hard to establish a new tubesite if you dont have already a tube network. Saw a lot of people failing in the last years and people shut down their own tubes. New tubes that come up have big investments with exclusive produced content and so on.

I would say that if you go very niche, also with the content , local content. small GEO its possible. Specially with a country that has not so much english speakers, Italy for example. Even do many tube sites have translation. I know some indian blogger making 4 figures a day just on a blogg and uploading mobile amateur sex . Stay away from this all in one tube sites. Fetish, Hentai, narrow down . Hentai sex loving visitors is sick killing good traffic.

It is a very appropriate one though. If you try starting an adult tube site in 2015 with no experience in adult or traffic generation at all, you're gonna have a bad time.
Quit now and focus on something else.
