Hi,
Is it OK (in general) to promote an offer using the creatives provided by the advertiser? Of course I do understand that having your own landing page is better than using an old one that is used by many other publishers. However, I can't really spend much money creating landing pages to just find out that this offer is not working for me.
So, at least for TESTING an offer. Is it OK if I will use landing pages provided by the advertiser, or, it's virutually a must to have my own landing pages? Thanks.
P.S. I'm talking about desktop traffic only above (if that matters).
Banners provided by advertisers are usually pretty crap - at least when I’ve tested them.
As for landing pages, it’s not uncommon to test offers direct to start with just to see if the offer converts.
But then the next step would of course be to see if you can boost your conversions via a landing page - which you normally should be able to do.
If you don’t have time/money, it doesn’t take long to rip a landing page from spy tools and use that for your test. If it shows potential then play with it, change pictures etc or start from scratch and go build your own.
