117,614 Impressions - 31 Clicks - 0.03% CTR - Need Advice

Hi All

I am running a campaign for a game on IOS mobile only.
I am testing four banner ads but my CTR sucks.

117,614 Impressions - 31 Clicks - 0.03% CTR

Does this mean I need to bid more or create better banners?

Better mobile ads.

Well it might mean couple of things

1. banners are located below the fold and users although they open/load, they might not be that engaging.
2. traffic quality is bad.

In general, and especially on mobile, banners suck. They show you the least engagement with mobile users and studies showed 50% of all clicks are accidental when it comes to banners.

Hmm i like the engagement idea, however, can you also tell me things about the volume? thanks

I am not sure how to tell what the volume is.

Yes, meaning that a user will visit the site, but the banner would open (thus generating a served impression) although the user would have to swipe down to actually see the banner. that's one possiblity anyway.

with us (shameless plugin) that is not possible, a user will always see the ad as it will hover as an overlay on top of anything else, then user can close the ad or clickthrough it, that's why you'll never see a CTR below 1% ; or 10% for that matter.
