Which affiliate marketing kpi is the most important?

Ok, I've been working on a small project of mine (having 7 yeards seo experience (no clickbat here ). I have a (what seems to be) important question. Which KPI is the most important for you as a paid affiliate marketing god when you're juggling all your campaigns?

To name a few:

CPA
CPL
CTR
CPM

???

A lot of KPI's are useful, but it all comes down to profit.

A lot of people throw around revenue and ROI numbers, these are vanity numbers. Instead of saying wow I have an insane ROI, it should be can I increase my bid to get more volume and sacrifice some of the ROI for an increase in overall profits. High revenue, ok how can I leverage my large volume. eg, ask for a pay bump

This one's a good sales pitch - should it work on CPL or CPA metric? )) Or revenue share?

So how do you round it up to 3-4 letters abbreviation (why is the word "abbreviation" so long? btw)
