Question about spying

Hey guys, I have a quick question about spying. Lets say that you want to find out what ads are running on network X. How to find out the apps that are using this network X so you can install them and see the ads that are running using VPN?

e.g. decisive.is lists their apps covered.

We just launched our Mobile spy tool if your looking to spy on mobile, check our thread out in the BST sections.

What is the right way to do it manually? I will appreciate if someone else of the big guys chime in.

The manual way is pretty hard on mobile. WhatRunsWhere has had a mobile tool with over 2 years of data in it for a while (shameless plug). If you want to do it by hand, in app is hard, mobile web is easier using emulators and just browsing around like a normal user.

@mattaw, looks like you represent WRW. I have a question, I am using WRW but it never shows the pre-landers used with a banner ad. it just shows the offer landing page. It could be that I don't know how to use the tool properly. What is the best way to find the pre-landers used by competitor using WRW?

You can check iamattila's guide for spying. Unfortunately you will not be able to find out carrier targeted traffic with WRW and I think that the only way to see it is browse manually with the right carrier ip. The problem is to find out the pubs on each network. I dont know how to do it... I still hope that someone will help on this one.

I was talking to one of WRW representatives yesterday and asking for the same questions.. apparently they don't have that feature..
