Best Dedicated Hosting in Europe ??

Currently have a beyond managed dedi in the US but I figure I can squeak out some extra ROI if I get a dedi for my Euro campaigns. Anyone have any managed dedicated hosting based in Europe that they can recommend? Appreciate any feedback, Thanks!

I've been using https://www.ovh.co.uk/dedicated_servers/ for more than 10 years with more than 10 servers at the same time.

I'm really happy with their offers and that work greats.
You can have a server delivered in 60 seconds !

You can also try a server for a week without paying the setup fees and see if you like it.

The only thing to know is that it's the kind of servers where you are on your own. The support is clearly not the best on earth, but it as improved over the past years.

I use OVH, price and server is fine, but this is the worst support ever, you always need to call them.

netrouting, ramnode.

for prices nothing beats ovh and hetzner since they own the largest datacenters, but they have 0 support.

I agree, the support is really not the best.
But I guess that what a low cost offer is.

To be honest, I only contact the support by email 5 or 6 times a year, with a response and problem solved in max 2 days.
When a server start to have problems, I just change it for a new one.

But I'm really good using linux on the command line (debian from scratch install), so I guess I'm not the typical webmaster here.

What really piss me off with OVH, is their ability to change the rules very often.
"IP are free and unlimited"
"IP are paid and limited"
"You cannot have more IP..."
"IP are now paid and limited"
"OK, IP are included, paid and limited"
WTF !

I get some IP blocked for cpanel/buycpanel from OVH and few times blacklisted.
Once they took 3 days to unlock and deliver a license cpanel.

But yes cheaper, good datacenter and if you have tech skill would be fine.

And when you really wanted to contact support, just call them, always when I call them they take actions just after 5 minute.

There are a few good data-centers in EU. At least those I have used:

1. SingleHop ( NL DC for EU ) -- really nice and fast support and the prices are decent. If you need a server with them let me know I think I get can get you some discounts here.
2. PoundHost ( UK only ) -- If you get the dedis that are 100+ pounds they are pretty good. I think the cheaper servers they sell are actually KVMs but not 100% sure.
3. SoftLayer ( A few locations in EU ) -- probably the best data-center for any location but they are expensive. Support is extremely good but if any get any complaint about your content you have 2 hours to remove it, if anything gets marked for phishing they will stop the server immediately. The policy here is kinda harsh when it comes to any "illegal" content reports.

If you need good and cheap VPS in EU RamNode ( NL DC for EU ) is the best option. The SSD KVMs they offer are pretty decent for the price you pay. I have tested the 4096MB SKVM and it handles a few million clicks per day without problems. They are not a good option if you run really high traffic though. Linode is better compared to those guys but more expensive, if you get one high end Linode VPS this may also work. Not sure how much traffic you will be running but with the right optimisation Linode can handle lots of it and they have load balancers so you can definitely get lots of clicks here.

None of these are managed but they have the option to make the service managed. However managed services does not mean they will install your tracker or anything on the server. The managed service ends as long as the server is up and running.

Just a few of the available options , if you need more details about those PM me will be happy to help.
