Does it EVER make sense to run a brokered offer? (5)

Does it EVER make sense to run a brokered offer?

Lowered P.O.. and really no increase in conversion metric since the 2nd(or 3rd) broker's CR is going to be based on the 1st broker anyway. If anything, the extra hop makes it worse..

Is there any business benefit to be "ok" with with running a brokered offer? I'm not seeing why anyone would but maybe there's some point of view I am not seeing.

Reasons include: because you want additional caps, you can't get accepted to the primary network, different compliance standards, different scrubbing rates, etc.

It depends, Network to Advertiser or Network to Network to Advertiser.

Cash flow and extra security are two common reasons. Support is another.

Many advertisers pay monthly and net 30-60.

We pay weekly, 5 days after the pay period ends. Some affiliates are direct but prefer to run through a network.

A few months ago I ran a brokered offer over going direct because the brokered offer paid upwards of 30% more.

Not sure what kind of deal they worked out, but it was way better than mine.

If your unsure, you can split test the networks/brokers and see what happens. You'll find most are paid/scrubbed differently.

Some advertisers do that to help maintain their relationship with CPA networks.

Some advertisers dont even accept affiliates if they know they are with a network that they work with. It gives the affiliate more incentive to stay with the CPA network.
