Hey guys,
I'm currently working with a client that helps their customers (small business owners) with their payment processing. In the past the signup process has been quite complicated and I was only paid a commission of the user made a purchase, hence I have only sticked to desktop traffic. The few attempts on mobile platforms failed.
Now they offer a free trial and that obviously remove A LOT of friction. So now I would like to try it out on mobile. My initial though was to target the utility category on networks like Decisive and alike.
Anyone have any experience with B2B traffic on mobile or any ideas on how to reach those customer on the self serve networks? The offer runs in Europe, BR and MX.
Thanks.
Can you be more specific about this product?
BTW being it a niche productI'm afraid you won't reach the right target unless you try PPC/mobile search.
Or direct buys with appropriate sites - lots of biz sites offer some way to do direct buys, albeit usually overpriced.
LinkedIn is another option, although see above re overpriced
Is the sign-up process optimized for mobile?
Thanks for the feedback. It's a product/service that lets small business accept credit card payments in.
@tim roth, yes the signup is somewhat mobile optimized.
Just as caurmen mentioned the direct buys are often overpriced. I agree, Linkedin is REALLY expensive.
What is your opinion on mobile ppv for an offer like this?
Hmm - test it, but my guess is that you'll have trouble finding good targets and some issues with it being highly interruption-based.
There's a very, very obvious suggestion that I completely forgot yesterday - search. Can you run it on Adwords mobile? That's perfect for something like this.
