Success story started in 2005 --> tbc (5)
Hello everyone
I don't know where I had to put it but here is my little success story if it counts.
In 2005 there was a big demand to host people in total anonymity, also they wanted offshore hosting so I picked in on this and started wrzhost.
After some ups and downs I know ended up in having a small stable income and still a nice position amongst the competition. If anyone can help me to get it even higher please be my guest.
On the side I did some content locking back in the days when everyone was blackhatting the hell out of cpalead but those days are over and to be honest I never paid a single penny for traffic. I just converted the traffic I had.
For the rest I made money on the sites that paid per lead like sharingzone. I know it's old school.
Anyway I'm now looking forward to clean up my network and test a few niches again. I have some nice old domains just waiting to be tested.
I could use a helping hand on this so if you want to test the potency of older domains then just let me know.
This is just a small success story and doesn't feel like I have reached my main goal but I'm looking forward to get those figures up again.

What are you exactly looking to do right now, scale what you have or branch into paid marketing?

At the moment I'm focusing on my hosting business because that's the first thing you need when you operate a website.
If I can keep the costs low there I make more profit.
The domains I'm talking about are from campaigns which are unfinished. I tapped a few niches but yeah I always used bum marketing traffic which isn't as valuable as ppc traffic I think but you can still come pretty close to your target. When I submitted an article to ezine with my keywords it was picked up and shared pretty fast in the past. Have to check which stats I can get nowadays. I know paid marketing is faster and maybe that's where the key is to my goal but if you're good at the bum marketing eventually you will be able to scale up.
It's just good to open up all the programs I used in the past like market samurai and retrieve my neverblue password because it's been ages that I checked it. Didn't even know they had a separate department for mobile now so I have a lot of catching up to do. That's what I have to do first. Get the hosting ready and check which offers are valuable nowadays so time to make a list of cpa networks I signed up to in the past and compare.

I could retrieve my peerfly and adscendmedia.
Maxbounty didn't send me the recover password email and never blue doesn't even have a recover password option.
I applied for f5 media.
When I have access to all 5 networks then I can compare. I took a quick look and I think I can convert some traffic I have already but I need good tracking software again which will be my next step.
For seo and rank tracking on google I used market samurai in the past but I don't know if it's still valuable. Need to check that.
Also cloud flare brings me a small idea of the traffic I have left. It's not much but a small percentage I can work with I think though it's not very targeted like the traffic I had in the past with ezinearticles so can't wait to start testing and wake up to some results.
Ok so here is another update
maxbounty told me to sign up again, though I had good experiences in the past I will not do this as I feel like I have some of the best networks already to work with.
I signed up for decisive and filled in the survey and contacted them to speed up the process a little bit.
Now I need to think about some banners, though I suck at designing and I was never eager to learn it I will check out some small tutorials now because what you do yourself you usually do better.

I was approved at decisive after a couple of minutes. Let's check this out and add some money...

I took a break for college and good news I passed my exams and now I have a few left and then I can start my internship and get a bachelor in IT and finally get some income to do some internet marketing. In the beginning it will be hard because me and my girl want to live together and you know they always going to nag when you spent another 500$ in minutes on (porn) banners
After barely missing some meetings in Amsterdam I kind off was dissapointed because my focus was real and the goal is still there which is getting at least 1k per day.
Christmas and new year have costed me a ton and I got clothes in return, you have to appreciate it but yeah I want the cold hard cash I spent on them.
It's good to be back guys and I'm far from being the elite but next event close to Belgium I'll be there and give you a a hand and hopefully the knowledge will flow ithrough that hand into my brains.
I'm starting to babble now but I'm so glad I'm back that I put on some good music and I'm checking affiliate networks, they don't seem to have blocked me, only zeropark blocked an account with 2k on it because they accused me of reselling it.
So far so good, didn't expect the money to be there, I see I can almost bank on some affiliate networks to get a fresh cash flow.
Looking forward to catch up with the latest methods again guys, I still love you and your way of running this biz, glad to be back, have I said this before? Can't say it enough!
