Need to make $10K in 1 year

Hi, I'm fairly new to affiliate marketing. Already have a website with the potential earnings of $7K/m if I get on #1 spot in google, which shouldn't be that hard.

But I want to ask you about any tips etc. to make sure that I make at least $10K in the upcoming year, all the way to April 2016. Just in case it didn't work out. Thanks

I am curios which calculus you've made to define a 7k/m potential in your website?

I'm skeptical about it myself because people use adblock. I read this book, and in that book he calculates this by (Monthly searches for a keyword)*(Price for the keyword)*0.68*0.42*0.04. And my result for my keyword was $7K.
And it's all with AdSense.

$10k profit inside of 12 months is totally achievable.

I wouldn't hedge all my bets on getting a no1 spot on google.

It's fairly easy to get to no. 1 spot in my niche, that's why I chose it.
