I must have messed tracking up :/ (help?)

Hey guys,

I just launched my first campaign, and obviously I'm quite excited.

howeeeeever, I probably messed up tracking.

Here is a screenshot of my Decisive campaigns (UK pin submits)

As you can see it is showing some rather crazy click through rates. That's the first odd part about this. On F5media's side, this is what I get:

Waay less clicks, and also clicks to an offer I don't even know first and second ones).

Could someone please shime in and tell me what I did wrong? I'm feeling as lost as jesus in the desert and I hope I won't have to wander 40 days in my bedroom to figure this one out.

Howard

I know this is a stupid question, but did you change the country to UK only?

Usually when you see different offers show on your dashboard, it usually means it was redirected to an offer in the Geo the visitor is from.

As for the click discrepancy, are you using a lander? Traffic source clicks show people that clicked on the banner, while Network Clicks (in this case F5) show clicks to the offer.. so if you have a landing page in there, that's where your clicks may be going to.

@glennstacks thanks for the answer

Yeah I did set UK only (double checked), and have only been targeting carriers/models allowed by the offer.

I should have mentioned that I am direct linking! (for now at least)

That looks a lot like bot traffic. Those click rates are insanely high for that spend. That'd explain the click loss.

Is most of that traffic coming from one or two placements? If so, those placements are probably horrible.

If you fancy getting a bit techie, give this a go - http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...367#post180367

@caurmen

I have checked the placements for my campaigns, and there seems to be a few placements that have over 60% CTR smh.
They also seem to be avoided alot since I'm getting around 90% of wins.

I've cut the obvious bad ones and upped my daily spend so I can get data a little faster.
Thank you for the answer and the guides!
