Can someone please answer this for me

Say I'm promoting a free credit score offer and go over to Google, grab the first two pages of results and then stick them into similarweb and then look at the suggested similar sites, what Im left with is just a bunch of really big popular sites that offer the very service im trying to promote. This is where I get confused because they would not he worth bidding on, right?

I mean if someone's Googled them why would they even glance at my popup LP, I have read other methods such as Sitemaps and search queries but won't I just end up with the same results. What about adult dating and Bizops too what would I target for these types of niches and how. I spoke with someone from 50OnRed and they said I'm better of targeting the big sites over anything else, but, they would a, cost loads to bid on b, only (bigger) would be big services that offer my offers service as mentioned before.

I started out on my first campaign sourcing what I thought would be good targets, grabbed similar sites with Alexa ranking of around 100k or just under but they were mostly sub domains and generated zero traffic. Seems only the BIG domains actually send me views really.

Would be great to hear from anyone that's a bit more clued up than myself.

Thanks

It all depends on your angle. For the credit score thing.

If you are just popping a direct link offer over same type of service, then no, you probably are not going to make a conversion. But hit it with an angle, or shock the user into looking at your lander, then year you might get some click through if the angle works.

Credit scores are a hard vertical to start out with.

grabbing urls from similar web etc.. you are just going to be getting the same old ones.. although you get some good suggestions.. try using something like skrayp.com to grab a load of keywords and urls.

tbh.. I find sometimes in some verticals keywords work better than domains in 50onred.. you just need to blacklist the domains you don't want to pop on from the tracking stats.. takes a few $$ to weed out the trash on a decent keyword first.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to respond to my thread, right now I'm going back to what I started with which is adult dating. I have some good LP's with GEO locations and all that good stuff included into them. I'm using 50OnRed currently and have tried a LOT of different angles and targets but none seem to work out very well, instead of jumping on to a different vertical I want to stick with this one but it's difficult.

I even looked at the top selling products/courses on marketplaces and targeted them such as thetaoofbadass.com and looked at their related domains too. I figured this would be pretty good because if people are in need of learning that stuff then they will like what they see on the LP's in regards to chicks waiting to meet them right now. It seems the most obvious targets that offer bigger searches or lower never seem to work for me, I'm kind of out of ideas on the whole angles front now too.

Thanks, for me IDK why but if I dig deep and look for really targeted stuff with good angles they end up with bad Alexa's and I get zero views on them. For the bad negative stuff I must admit I have not yet looked into that and would need to research it and stuff, thanks.

I'd give dntx or popads.net a go.. with these sources you can block trashy sites, and work on targeting such as browser/carriers etc along with categories/keywords.

I'm kind of stuck with using it right now due to budgets, someone did mention earlier that TrafficVance is best right now.
