Geo-Redirects (2)

Geo-Redirects

So, I'm a bit more experienced now. (Have cracked 4-figure days several weeks in a row now, albeit still on a few months into this whole adventure..)

Thanks to this forum I've been learning new things almost daily. One of the big things I'm learning from experience as well as from Zeno's Facebook guide and others is that not all my traffic from my traffic sources comes as it's supposed to. The targeting on the traffic source isn't 100% accurate, and will send me anywhere from 1-5% of the time, clicks that are from GEOs outside the targeting.

Now my affiliate will geo-redirect these users to offers that match their respective GEO's. My question is, have some of the veterans here found good ways (systems) to monetize, capitalize on this traffic "leak." So instead of fattening my network's pockets I'm instead fattening my own.

I'm thinking of setting up a rule (to catch the GEO's that don't match my offer's accepted) in Voluum by default with offers and building out a sort of catch all lander that would have a variety of offers to cater to that respective language. I would have to set up a few landers for some of the major GEOs I'm seeing the traffic leaks but I wanted to get some other thoughts/perspectives before I start working on something like this quite yet.

The simple quick and dirty solution, like you mention, is to use your tracker's Geo detection/redirect ability to send traffic to something you've built out.

There are a few companies that offer international redirect services that you can also tie into. Eg Globalwide, HasTraffic, redirect.com etc
